MTBPS 2021 Lock-Ups – registration open
National Treasury will host a media lock-up on the day of the tabling of the Medium Term Budget Policy Statement (MTBPS) on Thursday, 04 November 2021. The lock-up affords media and economists an opportunity to interact with the mid-term budget documents under embargo.
The registration link to the registration portal is now opened. Colleagues are encouraged to click on the link below to register. The portal will close on Monday, 11 October 2021 at 17:00.
The registration portal includes all information regarding lock-ups in both Pretoria and Cape Town. The lock-up rules are in the portal, please read through the rules upon registering. Everyone who registers for accreditation agrees to be vetted by NT and its partner vetting institutions.
No late registrations will be accepted. Due to this fact, journalists and economists are encouraged to register, even if they are not sure whether or not they will attend the lock-ups to ensure that they are registered on time should they decide to cover the MTBPS.
