Twin Peaks media workshop
The National Treasury will host a media workshop on Twin Peaks. The workshop is aimed at assisting journalists understand what Twin Peaks are all about, and also give more information that will assist journalists when writing stories on the new financial regulatory framework.
The workshop will also assist journalists to understand why, under the Twin Peaks regulations, South Africa now has the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (formerly called the Financial Services Board) and the Prudential Authority (located within the Reserve Bank). Officials from the National Treasury, the FSCA and the Prudential Authority will present at the workshop, followed by a question and answer session.
