Treasury on Deputy Director General: Asset and Liability Management’s resignation 

The Director General, Mr Dondo Mogajane, has announced the resignation of Ms. Tshepiso Moahloli who will be leaving the department on 15 October 2021 from her position as Deputy Director-General of Asset and Liability Management.  

Ms. Moahloli in her remarks about leaving the National Treasury said, “I have spent eleven years at the National Treasury. One has grown because of the nature of the institution and the many opportunities afforded to me. I do not see the National Treasury as just a work place, but a home and I will always be grateful for the camaraderie one enjoyed.”  

Deputy Director-General: Economic Policy, Dr Duncan Pieterse, will be taking up the position of Deputy Director-General: Asset and Liability Management as of 16 October 2021.    

Ms. Boipuso Modise who is currently the Chief Director: Modelling and Forecasting will be appointed as Acting Deputy Director-General Economic Policy at this time.  

The Director General Mr Dondo Mogajane thanked Ms. Tshepiso Moahloli for her dedicated service to the National Treasury, the public service and the country, “Tshepiso is a highly skilled, capable and committed public official who has significantly contributed to the work of National Treasury. We wish her well in her new endeavors and fully expect her to return as one does to your family and continue to contribute to the building of our public financial and fiscal management system”
