Deputy Minister Magadzi and MEC Lerule-Ramakhanya support 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

Transport Deputy Minister Ms Dikeledi Magadizi and the Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety Ms Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya will roll out a transport-focused 16 Days of Activism against Women and Children education and awareness activation in Musina, Limpopo. The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Mr Njabulo Nzuza will join them.

The activation is in support of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence unveiled by government on 25 November 2020.

The programme will be officiated at the CWM Children’s project Centre at Matswale in Musina. The Centre accommodates vulnerable children from Musina and those that are coming from across the border. The centre has managed to produce academics against all odds. This year’s theme is “Women’s economic Justice for a non-violent and non-sexist South Africa”

The activation will also be targeted at the road users such as motorists, truck drivers and commuters during a walk-about at the Beitbridge Port of Entry.
