Eastern Cape Safety and Liaison hosts Health Awareness Campaign in King William's Town, 16 Oct

Speeding up Service Delivery through Mental Health and Physical Wellness

The Department of Safety and Liaison (DSL) as the host, in partnership with South African Police Service, Transport, Correctional Services and South African National Defence Force (SANDAF) Departments will embark on a massive health awareness campaign. This will be done in order to create a healthy workforce equal to service delivery at hand.

The campaign has been prompted by the fact that all the departments in the security cluster are responsible for the safety and security of the Eastern Cape Province.  This enormous health awareness campaign will be held under the theme: “The best prevention is early detection.”

The pillars of the campaign are as follows: Aerobics, Fun Walk, Soccer, Netball, Tag of War and many more.

Members of the Media Fraternity are hereby invited to come and cover the campaign.
