Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga and South African Reserve Bank (SARB) Governor Lesetja Kganyago will on Friday 16 August 2019, announce the winners of the 2019 Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) Schools Challenge at the South African Reserve Bank Conference Centre in Pretoria.
Born from the need to help learners build an understanding of the broader role of economics in their day-to-day lives, the MPC is guided by the Departments understanding of the immense need to improve financial and economic literacy among our young people.
