Rapid response team successes & UIF payments during lockdown
The Department of Employment and Labour in Gauteng is hosting a virtual media briefing to share the successes of the Rapid Response Team (RRT) since the start of the first lockdown in March 2020.
The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) will also release payment statistics of the Covid-19 TERS Relief Scheme and normal benefits.
The Fund will also give an update on fraud cases, the “follow the money” project and details of the Covid-19 TERS extension.
