Presidential Golf Challenge 2019

Members of the media are invited to the annual Presidential Golf Challenge (PGC) which is hosted as part of the State of the Nation Address (SONA) activities. The event will be held on 08 February 2019 in Cape Town.

The purpose of this initiative is to raise funds for charities designated by the sitting President while simultaneously facilitating an opportunity for networking among decision-makers within the private sector and entities from the three spheres of government on the day immediately subsequent to the President’s SONA.

The initiative, coordinated by the Department of the Public Service and Administration, is a joint effort with the private sector to partake in developmental initiatives to empower society, with this year’s contributions to be made to the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation. 

Attending the golf day will be Cabinet Ministers; Members of Parliament; Members of Executive Councils; Directors-General; Heads of State Owned Enterprises and Executives from the private sector.

Members of the media are invited to the PGC as follows:

Venue:  Atlantic Golf Club, Melkbostrand, Western Cape

Fundraising Dinner:
Time: 17h30
Venue: Cape Town International Convention Centre (ICC), Cape Town
