Provincial Treasury HOD to donate computers to a needy, enterprising school in Malukazi near Umlazi
A no-fee school which has been punching above its weight through innovative programmes will tomorrow, Friday 23 August 2019, receive a shot in the arm from the KZN Provincial Treasury.
HOD Simiso Magagula will donate laptops to the pioneering Windy Heights Primary School in Malukazi outside uMlazi.
Being a Quintile 2 school with an enrolment of about 1600 children has not stopped teachers from the school from dreaming big. They have gone beyond the call of duty to offer additional subjects such as home economics, arts and craft, drama and piano lessons.
The school has also set its sights on providing computer lessons and the donation to be made by the HOD is set to give this programme a jumpstart.
The handover of the laptops will be held as follows:
