President Cyril Ramaphosa addresses Proudly South African Buy Local Summit, 9 Mar

President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Tuesday, 09 March 2021, virtually deliver a keynote address to the 9th annual Proudly South African Buy Local Summit & Expo, held under the theme “Localisation as a driver of Economic Growth”.

The summit takes place over three days while the expo runs from 8 to 19 March 2021. The events mark the 20th anniversary of Proudly SA, an entity of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition.

The summit is held annually to place a spotlight on the importance of localisation and of buying local.

The 2021 expo, which will take place virtually, will provide a platform for more than 100 local companies to showcase products and services which the public is able to buy online on www.rsamade.co.za

The 2020 edition of this event was cancelled due to COVID-18. This year’s showcase will be hosted in a hybrid format where all sessions will be streamed across multiple online and digital platforms found on www.buylocalsummit.co.za
