Premier Winde to visit Atlantis to discuss safety plan
Tomorrow, Western Cape Premier Alan Winde will host a community meeting to outline the details of his recently launched safety plan, to the community of Atlantis.
The R1 billion safety plan announced last month, will make 3000 additional law enforcement officers, and 150 investigators available in crime hotspots in the province. Additional, long-term violence prevention programmes will also be rolled out as part of the plan.
Local Community Policing Forums, Neighbourhood Watches as well as members of the community have been invited to attend.
After the meeting, Premier Winde will head to the Atlantis library, where he will hand over books collected during the Western Cape Government's book drive.
