Premier Sihle Zikalala briefs media on Coronavirus COVID-19 cases in KwaZulu-Natal, 12 Aug

KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala will today, Tuesday 12 August 2020, update the media virtually on the upsurge of Coronavirus cases in the province.

While the country sees a steady decline in the number of Coronavirus cases, KwaZulu-Natal has overtaken the Western Cape in terms of the number of active case.

The Province has worryingly been reporting the highest rate of new Covid-19 cases since the start of August.

The Province has surpassed the 1000 mark, with 1108 newly reported infections. This is more than double the number of newly reported infections in Gauteng at 532.
