Premier Kaobitsa Bushy Maape to render the Provincial Service Delivery Campaign Address
As part of his commitment to the people of North West, Premier Kaobitsa Bushy Maape will take his Provincial Service Delivery Campaign Address to Coligny in the Ditsobotla Local Municipality. These are ongoing efforts by the provincial government to speed-up the delivery of services in municipalities.
The address follows the Provincial Accelerated Service Delivery Plan initiative which was launched in Mahikeng recently. This initiative will also be implemented in other municipalities as the province forges ahead with changing the face of local government.
Through working hand in glove with the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, the National Treasury and the South African Local Government Association – SALGA, the provincial government is devising new and innovative approaches to improve the state of municipalities in the North West. This includes refining the administrative efficiency and financial accountability of municipalities
The address which coincides with Reconciliation Day will be preceded by a cleaning campaign and patching of potholes in and around Coligny.
