Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha bids farewell to Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba


Limpopo Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha wishes to salute the outgoing Provincial Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba.

The  Zebediela born Ledwaba, is putting aside his blue uniform,  today the 30th April 2021. Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba went through the ranks of SAPS as a disciplined and dedicated patriot.

After joining the Police, he went  through the ranks and became the Station Commander in Gauteng, the Cluster Commander in Northwest before being appointed as the Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo on 01 May 2016.

In the same spirit, Premier Mathabatha also salute Brigadier Joseph Makushu. Brigadier Makushu is one of the founding members and former Head of Protection and Security Services, Limpopo Division. Makushu has since put off his boots on the 31st March 2021.

"I wish to use this opportune time to humble myself in honour of these two special sons of the soil. Both Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba and Brigadier Makushu, have been instrumental in our ongoing fight against crime in Limpopo. For their selfless services and surmountable support, today Limpopo rises and accord them with a special standing ovation that is befitting to their statures. We wish them good health and well in their retirement" says Premier Mathabatha.
