Today, Premier Alan Winde and Department of Health officials will hold a digicon to detail the plans for the new CTICC hospital, which will create over 800 additional beds for COVID-19 patients.
They will also detail the province's screening and testing efforts and the broader health response to the pandemic, ahead of the level four lockdown coming into place.
The briefing will be held online, live on Premier Alan Winde's Facebook page.
Members of the media wishing to ask questions will be required to send them to a Whatsapp group which will be created specifically for this purpose. To be added to the group, you must RSVP and send your number to Bianca Capazorio before noon.
NB: Those who were added to the group before, need not resubmit their numbers.
