Forty new vehicles to be handed over to Eastern Cape Detective Units

In pursuit of enhanced service delivery and improving reaction times, Eastern Cape SAPS is officially handing over 40 vehicles (Nissan D/Cab Bakkie) to detective units within the province. Vehicles are an essential resource in SAPS service delivery and their availability, good maintenance or unavailability has a direct bearing on the quality of our service.

These vehicles will go a long way in enhancing the SAPS service delivery as detectives are key in undertaking investigations, effecting arrests, collecting evidence and attending court in order to present evidence so that the court can make informed decisions in each and every case. MEC for Transport, Safety and Liaison, Ms Weziwe Tikana will be in attendance.

The event will take place as follows:

Date: 13 March 2019
Time: 8h00
