Environmental Affairs committee deeply saddened by passing of Minister Nomvula Mokonyane’s husband
The Portfolio Committee on Environmental Affairs is deeply saddened by the passing on of Minister Nomvula Mokonyane’s husband, Mr Serge Mokonyane.
The committee has enjoyed a good working relationship with Minister Mokonyane since her appointment as the Minister of Environmental Affairs. The committee sends condolences to the Minister and wishes she regains strength from the sad loss of her husband and continues to serve the people of South Africa. It is in this regard that the committee shares the pain of the Mokonyane family, and would like to wish them strength, encouragement and hope at such a difficult and trying time. The Minister and the Mokonyane family remain in our prayers.
