Welcoming of Banyana Banyana player: Nthabiseng Majiya

The Northern Cape Provincial Government is extremely proud of the remarkable achievement of the South African National Women’s Football team better known as “Banyana Banyana “who has recently won the Women African Cup of Nations 2022 and crowned as African Champions.

As a Province we will be welcoming two members of the team delegation, namely Ms Emma Hendricks who was the Head of Delegation on the Women’s National Team in Morocco and then Ms Nthabiseng Majiya, who is a player in the team.

The MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture MS Desery Fienies and delegation from South African Football Association and team members from Richmond Ladies Football Club will be welcoming Nthabiseng at the Kimberley Airport tomorrow, 28 July 2022 @ 10H15.

Ms. Emma Hendricks the Head of Delegation of the Women’s National Team will be welcomed in Upington, at the Upington Airport on the 28 July 2022 @ 08h00.

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture is hereby encouraging members of the community to join us at the Kimberley Airport and the Upington Airport as we welcome our local heroines.
