“The adjustment budget comes almost a month following our country’s sixth democratic local government elections, the results of which demonstrated voter frustrations with the level of service delivery, and this is a clarion call to all of us that we need to strengthen and capacitate this coalface local sphere so that the impact of government service delivery is felt by all. Furthermore, the budget aims to respond and address the economic and social ravages caused by the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) by allocating funds where there’s a greatest need thus rebuilding our country’s battered economy and setting it to economic recovery and growth.” says MEC Rosho.

The budget will be tabled on:

Date    :  Tuesday, 30th November 2021
Time   :  09:00 A.M
Venue : North West Provincial Legislature

The budget will be broadcast live on community radio stations across the province and will also be live on the departmental Facebook page. Alternatively Budget documents will be made available on the Provincial Treasury website (www.treasury.nwpg.gov.za) during delivery of speech.
