North West Legislature Education Committee to Conduct a Follow-up Oversight Visit at Morokweng Primary School over Infrastructure Challenges Affecting Teaching and Learners
The North West Provincial Legislature's Portfolio Committee on Education, Arts, Culture, Sports and Recreation Education will conduct a follow-up oversight visit to Morokweng Primary School over infrastructure challenges that ended up affecting teaching and learning.
This follows an oversight visit to the school the Committee had embarked on where it had an engagement with the principal, learners School Governing Body, the community of Morokweng and the District office. The Portfolio Committee, led by the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Viola Motsumi, took a decision to have a follow-up meeting with the Office of the MEC Wendy Matsemela, Superintendent General, Supply Chain Management of the department, Director Infrastructure and Director Finance so that they can be able to come up with a positive resolution that will ensure that learners and educators go back to school.
