North West Legislature Committee to Brief the Media on the Economic Development and Tourism Department’s Progress
The Portfolio Committee on Economic Development and Tourism, Agriculture and Rural Development will on Tuesday, 12th November 2019 hold a Committee meeting with the Department of Economic Development and Tourism to follow up on the department’s progress in second quarter report.
The Committee will reflect on the department and its entities’ implementation of its recommendation on SAGHBHA Wild Life project, Molopo Game Reserve, Farm Montana in Barolong baga Mariba projects, exorbitant cost of the Taung Hotel School Gate, the Mahikeng Hotel School Security, Bop Recording Studios and the Northwest Gambling Board.
The Committee will also discuss the department’s compliance with Supply Chain Management legislation, issues raised by the Auditor General and forensic investigations among the many concerns previously raised by the Committee.
The Committee will thereafter, hold a media briefing that will be held as follows:
