National School of Government hosts Thought Leadership Webinar, 17 Jul

National School Of Government to host webinar on prospects for a single public service

The National School of Government (The NSG) invites public sector executives and scholars to participate in a Thought Leadership Webinar on the possibility of a single public service following the recent Constitutional Court judgement on electoral reforms.

The session will be facilitated by the Principal of The NSG, Mr Busani Ngcaweni, and the panel is as follows;

  • Advocate Tembeka Ngcukaitobi (SC) amongst others is a member of the South African Law Reform Commission (SALRC) and an author: The Land is Ours. Adv Ngcukaitobi will focus on the legal aspects of a single public service.
  • Dr Sithembile Mbete, lecturer of International Relations and South African Politics and an Associate Fellow of the Centre for Governance Innovation (GovInn) at the University of Pretoria. She will focus on the Public Policy of Single Public Service; and
  • Mr Xolile George, Chief of Executive Officer of the South African Local Government Association (SALGA) as respondent.
     

Public sector executives, senior managers and any other interested persons are invited to join the discussion.
