CoGTA Minister Mkhize and Inter-Ministerial Task Team on Municipal debt to brief Scopa on Eskom Debt
Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA) Minister, Dr Zweli Mkhize - as a chairperson of the Inter-ministerial Task Team (IMTT) on Eskom - will brief the Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA) on the status of municipal debt for Eskom bulk electricity and the IMTT’s plans to resolve the debt.
The task team comprises of ministers for CoGTA, National Treasury, Public Enterprises, Water and Sanitation; South Africa Local Government Association; Water Boards; and Eskom.
