Minister Zokwana to brief the media on the status of the foot-and-mouth disease
The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Mr Senzeni Zokwana will on Monday 14 January 2019 meet with farmer organisations within the red meat sector to discuss implications of the recent Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreak in the Vhembe District of Limpopo.
The country has experienced export bans of its red meat after the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) temporarily suspended our status.
The meeting will be followed by a media briefing. Details of the media briefing are as follows:
