Public Works Minister TW Nxesi, MP, will be doing a quality inspection of the Mankweng police station in Polokwane, Limpopo, which is currently being renovated and upgraded by the Department of Public Works.
The upgrading of the police station, which will cost just above R55m, includes civil infrastructure, electrical installation, security systems and the full mechanical installation.
During the project, 60 National Youth Service (NYS) beneficiaries were recruited and 55 of them have graduated. The other five left the project to pursue other opportunities.
