Minister Thandi Modise to deliver address at the launch of Major Mandisa Mfeka’s biography
Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Ms Thandi Modise, will deliver a keynote address at the launch of Major Mandisa Mfeka’s Biography titled “YES I AM A PILOT”. Major Mfeka is the first African female fighter pilot in South Africa.
The book, authored by Dr Onkgopotse JJ Tabane, chronicles Mandisa’s journey to becoming the pride of the South African National Defence Force. It seeks to highlight the work of the South African National Defence Force in supporting youth and women in the military through Major Mandisa Mfeka’s story.
