Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams will, on Wednesday 9th of December 2020, participate in the World Economic Forum Future of the Connected World virtual press briefing. Minister Ndabeni-Abrahams will participate in the briefing as Co-Chair of the Global IoT Council, and in her capacity as Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies of South Africa.
“We must come together and act now to ensure these technologies become a force for shared societal benefit, as opposed to exacerbating existing inequalities,” said Minister Ndabeni Abrahams.
She added: “The maturity of ICT policy and governance continue to lag behind the pace of technological change. These are some of the challenges we have to address and share insights as global partners.”
