MEC Schäfer to visit Grade 12 Winter School Programme at Salt River Secondary School
Tomorrow, Thursday 20th June 2019, MEC Debbie Schäfer will visit the Grade 12 Winter Schools Holiday Programme at Salt River Secondary School.
Grade 12 learners from Salt River, Zonneblom Nest, Vista and Walmer High Schools are attending an intensive revision programme at the school ahead of the 2019 NSC examinations.
This Winter School is just one of the many Winter Schools that the WCED is running across the province to ensure that our Grade 12 learners are well prepared for the upcoming examinations.
Providing curriculum support to our Grade 12 learners is always a priority, and the Grade 12 ‘winter schools’ programme is just one of the many interventions by the WCED to help support and assist our Grade 12 learners.
We are fast approaching the final 2019 NSC examinations and after 12 years of schooling, the next five months are the most critical in a learner’s school career.
MEC Schäfer will be visiting the Grade 12 programme to encourage the learners to stay focused and put in the hard work that is required to succeed in the NSC.
