Minister Patricia de Lille to brief media on the gazetted strategic integrated infrastructure projects
The Minister for Public Works and Infrastructure, Patricia De Lille and the head of the Infrastructure Investment in the Presidency, Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa will hold a virtual media briefing on 27 July 2020 to give further detail on the Infrastructure Investment Plan.
The Strategic Integrated Projects (SIP’s) were gazetted on 24 July 2020.
The SIP’s were gazetted in terms of the Infrastructure Development Act. The media briefing will further expand on the 50 projects emanating from the Sustainable Infrastructure Development Symposium process and an additional 12 special projects which have been gazetted as SIP’s.
These projects are part of the overall Economic Recovery Plan of Government and will create employment opportunities within the construction sector.
