Minister Blade Nzimande will be meeting stakeholders on the post-school education and training sector on measures to combat COVID -19 epidemic
The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Dr Blade Nzimande, will be meeting with the Universities South Africa (USAF), the South African College Principals Organisation (SACPO), the South African Students Union (SAUS) and labour unions (NEHAWU, PSA and NTEU) as part of consultations on President Cyril Ramaphosa’s announcement on measures to combat the COVID -19 epidemic.
At the end of these briefing, Minister Nzimande will announce the outcome of the meeting and measures that all 26 public universities and TVET colleges will be implementing to further combat COVID -19 epidemic in the Post School Education and Training sector.
