Minister Mthethwa to host a virtual panel discussion as part of the 2020 Gothenburg Book Fair
The Honourable Minister, Nathi Mthethwa for the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC), together with his counter-part, Honourable Minister Amanda Lind will on Friday, 25 September 2020 host a virtual panel discussion to deliberate on issues around, languages, Books and Publishing.
The discussion forms part of this year’s Gothenburg Book Fair (GBF) taking place from 24-27 September 2020 under the theme, “Digital Culture and Reading Promotion”. The theme among others focus on language and reading as the cornerstones of democratic societies. GBF is arguably one of the largest and most prestigious cultural showpiece in the Nordic countries. The Ministers will also sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the margin of the virtual panel discussion.
