The Minister of Communications, Ms Nomvula Mokonyane will in the upcoming week, 22nd and 23rd October 2018, visit MaSisulu’s family home and Cofimvaba Hospital in Eastern Cape to celebrate the centenary of Albertina Nontsikelelo Sisulu.
The hospital visit will focus on some of the roles MaSisulu played in society - as a nurse, midwife and a care giver to women and children in the community; and her leadership role in the struggle for liberation.
Minister Mokonyane will also get an opportunity to engage with the nursing community and hospital staff members, as well as participate in some of the tasks and duties performed by the nurses on a daily basis.
