Minister Maite-Nkoana Mashabane sends deepest condolences to the Mthembu family during this painful time

The Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities Maite- Nkoana Mashabane sends her heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and comrades of the late Minister in the Presidency Jackson Mthembu

Minister Mthembu has served the movement and the people of South Africa with distinction and commitment and he has long been recognised as one of the ANC’s most disciplined cadres in the execution of his responsibilities. He lived to serve with compassion.

Minister Nkoana-Mashabane said “I am deeply shattered by the news of the passing of our dear comrade, an activist and lifelong champion of freedom and democracy who defended our democracy to the very end. After years of fighting, to his death, service to the people of South Africa was his passion. He will be remembered for his friendliness, kind and generous spirit. We are all at a loss”. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Condolences goes to his family, friends and all the people and families who have lost their love ones through this COVID-19 related complications. Let’s be united and responsible in our behaviour so we can defeat the spread of COVID-19.
