Minister Lindiwe Sisulu visits Vaal Intervention Project, 16 Jan - postponed

Members of the media are advised that the  trip by the Minister of Human Settlement, Water and Sanitation, Lindiwe Sisulu, to visit the Vaal Intervention Project to see progress made by ERWAT since coming on site, has been postponed to a date to be confirmed later.

Minister Sisulu to visit the Vaal Intervention Project to see progress made by ERWAT since coming on site 

The Minister of Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation, Lindiwe Sisulu, will this Thursday, 16 January 2020, lead a high-powered delegation that will visit the Vaal Intervention Project to see progress that has been made by ERWAT after it was tasked to clean up the river.

The clean-up is part of the department’s intervention following the pollution of large parts of the Vaal River in 2018. 

The media is invited to join the Minister, Executive Mayor/s and officials at the Sedibeng District Municipality Chambers in Vanderbijlpark from where she will visit various sites. The Minister will brief journalists about progress made at the last stopping point of her visit.
