Minister Lindiwe Sisulu tables Human Settlements and Water and Sanitation Budget Votes, 21 and 23 Jul

The Minister of Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation, Lindiwe Sisulu will this week deliver the Budget Vote Speeches for the 2020/2021 Financial Year. The first speech and debate on Vote 33: Human Settlements is scheduled for tomorrow, 21 July 2020 while the Vote 41: Water and Sanitation is scheduled for Thursday, 23 July 2020. The speeches will be delivered at 14h00 respectively.

The speeches are expected to among others, provide updates on measures being employed by her two departments to curb the spread of the Coronavirus. These include water provision in schools and water distressed communities across the country, allocation of finished houses and relief fund for distressed social housing beneficiaries.

Minister is also expected to outline the revised plans for 2020/2021 as a result of COVID-19 and how the sector has performed over the past few months.
