The Minister of Home Affairs, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi, and his Lesotho counterpart, Mr Mokoto Hloaele, are scheduled to meet tomorrow, 16 August 2019, at the Maseru Bridge border post. The meeting is aimed at reviewing and taking forward the implementation of current areas of cooperation.
These areas include the Lesotho Special Dispensation Project (LSP) and the Intervention Plan on traffic Congestion at Maseru Bridge border post. Maseru Bridge and Ficksburg are two of the six ports of entry that have been identified for the One-Stop Border Post programme.
Minister Motsoaledi is scheduled to unpack the Border Management Authority to his counterpart.
The two Ministers will also conduct a walk about at Maseru Bridge to monitor operations.
