Minister Dlodlo to host dialogue with the youth and students on government as an employer of choice

The Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Ms Ayanda Dlodlo will on Thursday, 23 May 2019 host a dialogue with the youth and students at the Tshwane University of Technology.

The dialogue will focus on the work that government is undertaking to make it easier for young people to access job opportunities in the public service and efforts to position the public service as a career of choice to young people.

Some of the key areas of focus will include the following:

1) The Government Graduate Recruitment Scheme.
2) The removal of experience requirement for entry level public service jobs.
3) The Ejob online recruitment system.
4) The professionalization of the Public Service.

The dialogue is in line with the National Development Plan (NDP) vision 2030 strategy of Building a Capable, Career-Oriented and Professional Public Service to underpin a Capable and Developmental State in South Africa.
