The Minister for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Dr Zweli Mkhize will on Wednesday, 6 February 2019 address the South African Local Government, Association’s Council of Mayors.
The Council is meeting under the theme “Enhancing the Role of municipalities in promoting Investment and Job Creation”.
The gathering will be held at the City of Cape Town Council Chambers.
The SALGA Council of Mayors meets at least meet annually and focus on addressing challenges experienced by Mayors and Executive Mayors as well as opportunities and progress in taking municipalities forward. It also serves as a platform that can be used for learning, sharing and reflecting on issues.
