The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) will on 27 November 2020 host Women in Mining Forum as part of 16 days of Activism for No Violence against women and children campaign at Misty Hills Country Hotel Conference Centre.
The department will collaborate with the Minerals Council, Mine Health and Safety Council and mining houses in order to promote implementation of the National Strategic Plan (NSP) on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide pillars within the minerals, mining and energy sector.
