DPME to host a consultative workshop to review the 25th year of SA democracy

The Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) will host a consultative workshop with various stakeholders as part of the process to review the 25 year of South Africa’s democracy.

The year 2019 marks the 25th anniversary of South Africa’s democracy.

The consultative workshop will provide a platform for all sectors and individuals to openly engage on their experiences over the past 25 years, engage on implemented interventions, outline achievements, challenges and lessons learned, and share solutions that could shape future plans.

The workshop is expected to be attended by among others representatives from the business community, labour organisations, civil society, political formations, public representatives, senior government officials, and ordinary individuals.
