Tomorrow, 10 December 2020, Western Cape Minister of Human Settlements, Tertuis Simmers, will be handing over 18 Title Deeds in Wesbank, Vredenburg, which is in the Saldanha Bay Municipal area. This will be followed by a housing handover to 10 qualifying and deserving beneficiaries in Noordhoek, Velddrif in the Bergrivier Municipal area.
Minister Simmers said: “I’m looking forward to handing over the Title Deeds, as this now ensures that more Western Cape residents can call themselves fully-fledged and legal homeowners. Further to this, I am also excited about the opportunity to see the beneficiaries in Velddrif finally moving into their brand-new homes, particularly since this project faced various challenges, which have been in the public domain over the last few months.”
There will be an opportunity for interviews and photographs.
