MEC Madoda Sambatha opens three Health facilities, 26 Apr and 2 May

In a quest to deliver basic health care services to the people of the North West Province, Health MEC Madoda Sambatha will officially open three newly built health facilities between April and May 2019.

The health facilities include a community health center in Boitekong, Rustenburg; a solar powered digital health centre in Madibogo village near Mahikeng and Madikwe clinic in Moses Kotane Local Municipality.

MEC Sambatha said the CHC will help the department to achieve the goal of improving the health profile of the nation by rendering basic primary healthcare services.

“As we prepare for the National Health Insurance (NHI), it is therefore important that we improve the state of our facilities like clinics, community health centres and hospitals especially in rural areas. We want people to fully benefit from NHI by the time it is rolled out to all the districts” he said.
