Gauteng engages Grayston interchange developers on transport infrastructure plans to improve mobility in the area

Gauteng MEC for Public Transport and Roads Infrastructure Jacob Mamabolo will on Thursday, 26 May 2022, visit the Grayston Drive Interchange as part of the Department’s continued engagements with private property developers to provide updates on transport infrastructure projects.
 
 Located on the M1, Grayston Drive is a major feeder road carrying traffic from the N1 into the Sandton Precinct. 
 
As the MEC announced during his Budget Vote speech, the Department of Roads and Transport will enter into a partnership to redesign the Graystone Drive interchange to improve traffic flow around the area.
 
The visit forms part of the Provincial Government’s Ntirhisano programme aimed at fast-tracking delivery of transport infrastructure projects to boost economic recovery and growth in the province.
