MEC Desbo Mohono to meet Wildlife sector stakeholders

Mahikeng-Existing and prospective North West game farmers, wildlife ranchers, breeders, hunters, wildlife trans-locaters, traders, bio-prospectors, game farmer associations, nursery owners, and all other related enterprises within the biodiversity sector will on Tuesday, 12 February 2019 converge in Rustenburg Town for a meeting with MEC for Rural Environment and Agricultural Development Department Ms Desbo Mohono.

Up for discussion during this gathering will be issues relating to reaffirmation on the transformation agenda in the wildlife sector, diversification and impediments which may be affecting the growth of the sector in the province.

The meeting will also be used to introduce MEC Desbo Mohono to various stakeholders in the wildlife sector.

It is anticipated that this one day assembly will generate ideas and recommendations that will shape the industry for the benefit of both conservation and the economic growth of the province as well as ideas that will sustain the industry while creating jobs with decent income.

All key role players in the wildlife sector are therefore invited to this important meeting with MEC Desbo Mohono.
