Limpopo MEC for the Department of Education Ms Polly Boshielo will be having a dialogue with 200 Representative Council of Learners (RCLs) from schools around the province to discuss issues that affect learners at school level.
The learners will be divided into 5 groups to discuss the roles of RCLs in making schools conducive to teaching and learning by reflecting and finding solutions on topics such as: school safety, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS and teenage pregnancy, child-headed families and the roles of RCLs in improving learner performance.
Through this dialogue the department will be able to identify possible solutions that will later be implemented in schools. During this learner-led engagement, the MEC will be joined by Limpopo Police Commissioner Mr Nneke Ledwaba.
