Mbalula train ride back on track
Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula’s train ride form Chris Hani station to Langa station is set to take place on Tuesday, 25 June 2019. The train ride - which was originally scheduled for 21 June 2019 - was postponed after the Minister was called to an urgent official engagement by the Presidency.
Members of the media are invited to join the Minister, the details are as follows:

NB (A shuttle arrangement has been organized for members of the media to depart from Cape Town station to Chris Hani station)
Venue: Parking quadrant, Old Marine Drive Cape Town Train Station (point of departure).
05h30: Minister Mbalula and members of the media take a train ride from Chris Hani station to Langa station.
07h30: Minister Mbalula briefs members of the media on the immediate plans to turn around train services in the Western Cape.
