Limpopo Government sends condolences to families of late Minister Collins Chabane, Sergeant Lentsoane and Sergeant Sekele

Limpopo Government gives support to the bereaved families

The Limpopo Provincial Government extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved families of Minister Public Service and Administration Collins Chabane, of Sergeant Lawrence Lentsoane and Sergeant Lesiba Sekele who passed on in a tragic accident on Sunday, 15 March 2015. May their souls rest in eternal peace.

The Provincial Government has established an Inter-Ministerial Team to give support to the families during these difficult moments and to assist with logistical arrangements related to funerals. The Inter-Ministerial Team will be spearheaded by MEC Jerry Ndou. Moreover, the late Minister Collins Chabane will be accorded an official funeral category one.

The Presidency has afforded the honour of official funerals to the two late Sergeants as well.

Meanwhile, the MEC of Transport, Safety and Liaison Mapula Mokaba-Phukwana together with other Members of Executive Council will attend the funerals of the late Sergeant Lawrence Lentsoane and Sergeant Lesiba Sekele respectively.

Minister Collins Chabane will be laid to rest on Saturday, 21 March 2015, at Xikundu village in Malamulele, Limpopo province. Sergeant Lawrence Lentsoane will be laid to rest this Saturday on the 21 March 2015 at Vlakplaas-Ga Marishane, whilst Sergeant Lesiba Sekele will be buried at Ga-Mapangula in Mashashane area on Sunday, 22 March 2015.

Furthermore, a book of condolences which is open to the public, is available at the Office of the Premier, 40 Hans van Rensburg Street, Mowaneng Building.
