Interdepartmental Task-Team Ministers brief media on grievances lodged by South African truck drivers, 4 Apr

Ministers to present the report on the inter-departmental task team established to deal with grievances lodged by the South African truck drivers on the employment of foreign truck drivers in South Africa 

Members of the media are invited to the media briefing on the presentation of the Inter-Departmental Task Team report, established to deal with grievances lodged by the South African truck drivers regarding the employment of foreign truck drivers in South Africa.

This report is the consolidation of the work done by the Interdepartmental Task-Team led by the Directors-General of the Department of Transport, Labour and Home Affairs.  

The media briefing is to be attended by Ministers in the security as well as the economic cluster of government including the KZN Premier and the MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison. 

At the conclusion of the Ministers meeting, the Ministers will present the report to the truck drivers foundations.
