Health minister to monitor vaccine rollout for 12–17-year-olds
Minister of Health Dr Joe Phaahla will today (Thursday), in the afternoon, conduct a site visit to Diepsloot vaccination site to monitor the vaccination of young people between the age of 12 and 17 years old.
Meanwhile, the Department is encouraged by the registration and vaccination figures recorded on the first day of vaccination of young people and would like to urge parents and caregivers to assist and support their children to register and possibly accompany them to the nearest vaccination sites to receive a life-saving jab.
