MEC Mamabolo unveils results of Gauteng household travel study
Gauteng MEC for Public Transport and Roads Infrastructure Jacob Mamabolo will unveil the latest provincial Household Travel Survey in Pretoria on Thursday, 15 October 2020.
The 2019/20 Gauteng Household Travel Survey (GHTS) is a province-wide primary data collection project aimed to collect and analyse information about household travel patterns, in order to provide improved understanding of the interaction between households and transport service delivery.
It is one of a series of household travel surveys commissioned by the Department as part of fulfilling its legislative mandate requiring the province to continuously monitor and evaluate its transport system.
